Upcoming Firings:
In 2010 I was invited down to St Petes Clay in Florida (now the Morean Center for Clay) to fire with Don Reitz, John Balistreri and Matt Long. That experience was the beginning of what has now become a decade of travel to other kiln sites and firings around the country. These firings have become an integral part of my studio practice, as I ship my work to the kilns and lead the firings with different groups of people. This has opened up my palette of glazed surfaces due to the difference in kiln designs and wood species used in each firing, offering me a more expansive view of the possibilities available with wood firing.
